I just registered and have a few questions 🙂

I’m getting a new kitchen in mid to late February and definitely want it from IKEA. However, I’m not sure about the quality of IKEA appliances, and I have already looked at some brand-name products (mainly Gorenje). Can someone tell me if installing these appliances is usually trouble-free? I’ve been to IKEA, and the sales assistant told me I absolutely need to choose a dishwasher from them because of the installation. Is that true? I found this one:

Will that work? So that I can fully integrate it into the base cabinet?

The fridge will go in the back left. Unfortunately, it will stick out a few centimeters (inches) over the window sill, but the window should still be able to open. I chose a different cabinet here because I really want drawers at the bottom and couldn’t find one like that (sorry if I overlooked something), but it should be possible to place the fridge in a standard 200cm (79 inch) tall cabinet at the top, right?

Now I’m stuck... how can I insert photos??? *silly question*

The dishwasher fits, but it is an AEG. Gorenje? Also not something I would buy.
Usually, appliances fit into the cabinets, but you always need to check individually using the dimension drawings to make sure.

Where exactly is "here" for you?? Today is Epiphany / Three Kings’ Day 😀 in Austria... I didn't know it’s not the same everywhere!!

Hmm... could you recommend other devices that are similarly affordable??

The XXL dishwashers with adjustable hinges from Siemens fit well, and there have been no negative reports about them here so far. Siemens, Bosch, Neff, or Miele are the brands I would recommend. Prices depend on the features, so the first question is what functions are needed?

The department head is also from Austria (probably obvious from the name) and purchased the kitchen furniture at IKEA in Slovakia. This allowed for considerable savings. But not every Austrian comes from Vienna, right?

A dishwasher doesn’t need to have special features; honestly, I’m just happy to have one again that actually washes 😀 It’s possible to manage without one now, but the endless hand washing really annoys me *ggg*

Current kitchen entrance from the hallway; this door will be closed from the hallway side, and shelves plus a door will be installed in the door frame, similar to a pharmacy cabinet.
