Hello everyone,

We have finally been living in our newly built house for two weeks now. We have underfloor heating throughout the entire house and a digital thermostat in every room. All thermostats are set to 21 degrees Celsius (70°F) throughout the house, and everything works fine overall. As soon as the thermostats reach 22 degrees Celsius (72°F), they switch off—except in the children’s room. There, we have noticed that the temperature easily rises to 23 degrees Celsius (73°F) overnight, and the floor remains constantly warm compared to the other rooms.

I have already contacted the company that installed everything for us, but it will probably take some time before I receive a response. As a curious person, I would really like to understand what could be causing this or what the reason might be.

Best regards

Check the flow meter in the manifold—is it open? Is the actuator malfunctioning? Is the flow rate too high?

As far as I can see, the indicator moves down or up whenever the thermostat opens or closes. At first glance, the flow appears to be the same in all rooms at the top.

Circuits in the manifold labeled incorrectly and thermostat connected to the wrong circuit?

Actuator defective or jammed.
You can try turning all room thermostats fully up and the children's room thermostat fully down. This should be reflected again at the manifold.

I suspected that as well. However, yesterday I turned off all thermostats upstairs except for the children's room. The temperature only rose in the children's room and nowhere else.

Yet, all rooms are heating up without the floor getting properly warm. Only in the children's room is the floor nicely warm.
