Hello,

I am facing the following challenge:
I want to install a railing on the stairwell.
The ground floor walls are made of Ytong blocks, and the upper floor has drywall panels.
Attached are 2 pictures of the mounting bracket (Befestigung_1.jpg & _2.jpg) that will be fixed to the wall and then screwed onto the wooden beam (railing), as well as the M8 screw (Schraube.jpg) that goes into this bracket and the wall.
So far, the installation on the ground floor went well, but for the upper floor I cannot use the regular anchor since there is drywall.
The screws got stuck in 10mm (0.4 inch) drywall anchors.
I would prefer to use metal hollow wall anchors, but for that I would need a bolt with threads on both ends so I can secure it properly.

Do you have any advice on what would be the best solution?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Kind regards
