Matzerich30 Apr 2026 19:11I would like to build a small wooden deck in our garden.
The problem is that there is an underground parking garage beneath our garden, so we can only dig about 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) deep. Using machines to compact the soil is therefore not possible. So far, no one has been able to provide a practical solution for how this could work. Hopefully, I can find some good advice here.
The deck should be about 2.5 x 3 m (8 x 10 ft) in size—preferably made from WPC. We want to use it for training/yoga and lounge chairs in the sun.
Whether it is flush with the ground or raised doesn’t matter; it should just be reasonably stable since we will be doing some dynamic exercises on it during training.

Very simple DIY.
