Hello,
While searching for wooden windows in the UK, I came across a graphic. It concerns the replacement for a 100-year-old house.
Are this type of glazing (left in the image) now common, or is it something new? Which manufacturers are available in Germany so I can research further? As far as I know, the production line for LandVac, this type of glass, comes from China. Panasonic also manufactures similar glass nowadays.
However, I have since read that the costs are much higher compared to standard double glazing. So, that basically answers my question.

However, almost no window manufacturers provide matching frames for them (Rehau and Salamander have been cooperating with Fineo since last year to develop windows). Therefore, you can probably buy the panes, but you will have to assemble (or have assembled) them yourself.
It only makes sense if historic preservation is a factor. But even then, I would opt for regular glazing, as the effort and cost are likely still significantly lower and simpler.
