Hello,
we are currently building a semi-detached house. Our builder told us that the cable TV connection is also installed by Telekom. He said that there is always just one cable carrying everything (telephone, cable TV, everything).
I wanted to ask, with this cable connection from Telekom, is it possible later to choose Kabel Deutschland/Vodafone as the provider for cable internet? Or would Kabel Deutschland need to carry out construction work?

GigaCube?
According to the provider, you can test it for 30 days, otherwise there is a 24-month contract period.
You can’t really cover much distance with that, can you?
I’m considering the mobile LTE router from 1&1 for this. They offer plans at €20 per month with a one-month term, so you can cancel every month.
Our Telekom service is already delayed by at least 14 days (within 5 minutes I received two emails extending the period by 7 days each; the new date was then 14 days later than originally planned).

The Telekom team also sent me this. But I’m too clueless to get it working. So I thought, instead of struggling with it, I’d get the Gigacube, and that worked immediately. 50GB per month for 24.95 or 10 more if you’re not a Vodafone customer. And the best part is, you only pay for the month you activate it. Turning it off is simple too—just unplug it and it’s off. Plug it back in, it turns on, and everything connects to it automatically.
