ᐅ Cost of Telecom Service Connection – Invoice?

Hello,

I arranged a new connection with Telekom at the same time as signing the contract. According to the builder service by phone, the house connection costs 800€ (about $860), with 400€ (about $430) credited back when signing up for a Magenta product. The house connection and fixed-line service are already active.

Now I am wondering how the 800€ (about $860) will be paid. Will I receive a separate invoice from Telekom for 800€ (about $860)? Or will the invoice be issued by the construction company carrying out the work or the coordinating local utility company? So far, invoices from the local utility only cover water and electricity charges.

From whom should I expect further billing?

The telecom company will still send you a bill for 799€.

We received it about one month after the technician activated the line.

Telekom will send a separate invoice. Trust me—they are quite prompt about it.

The invoice only arrived for me after more than six months... I was already wondering why I didn’t have to pay anything...

It was the same for us. We had the 600-400€ option. The cable was installed in April, the telecom technician came at move-in in August (right on time!!!), the activation notification arrived in October, even though we had been using the connection and service since August, and the bill came in December ...
