Hello,
Here, the water from one faucet smells musty, like pond water.
The pipes are plastic, and it is only the faucet in the bathroom.
The shower and kitchen are fine.
Greenbeck has also changed the water softening system regarding osmosis, but now it is happening again.

Why does the water coming from the faucet have a smell? Strangely, this only happens at one faucet, the one in the bathroom. At all other water outlets, there is no smell. My question is whether something like this can be caused by the faucet itself. All pipes used are plastic.
The water from the faucet smells when you bring your nose close to it or drink directly from the faucet.
I initially thought it might be the drain, but then it would have to smell all the time.

I also thought it was the drain at first, but then there would always be a smellNo, only when it gets wet. Just take a glass into the kitchen and see if it still smells. Then you'll know for sure if it's the water.KingJulien schrieb:

That way you'll definitely know if the water is the cause. Or the other way around: water from the kitchen into the bathroom drain

This is a new build, so I don’t know the exact routing of the pipes off the top of my head. Especially with new builds, shouldn’t there be photos from the construction phase?
