Hello,
who has installed a tablet wall mount?
If yes, which bracket was used and what type of power supply was chosen?
Regards

If so, which mounting bracket was used and what type of power supply was chosen? There are also some tablets with Power over Ethernet (PoE) (e.g., Allnet), in case that might be of interest.

Doesn’t the battery become irrelevant if the tablet is permanently installed anyway? I have read reports of batteries swelling when wall-mounted and continuously connected to power.
Therefore, the battery should definitely be removable.

Are there any with Android? Yes... but so far I have no experience with them.
I only researched tablets with PoE in connection with a video intercom system.
For me, it’s easier to get LAN to the place rather than power.
Well, for us it’s similar—the tablet isn’t used very often. That’s why I didn’t want to install a €400 device with a €250 mount. Instead, I got a Samsung tablet for €130 during Black Friday. As I mentioned, it’s permanently connected to a flush-mounted power supply. I believe I read that the power supply is designed for this purpose and has some kind of charging management, but I can’t say that with certainty. In any case, it is intended for continuous operation, as described. It has been installed for about 1.5 years now and works perfectly.
If the tablet stops working after 5 years, that’s okay—that’s why I chose an affordable option. It serves its purpose just as well as any more expensive tablet.

Well, it’s the same for us—the tablet isn’t used very often. That’s why I didn’t see the point in hanging a €400 (approximately $440) device on a €250 (approximately $275) mount. So, I got a Samsung tablet on Black Friday for €130 (approximately $145). In my case, it’s permanently connected to an in-wall power supply. I think I once read that the power supply is designed for this purpose and has some kind of charging management, but I can’t say that with certainty. In any case, it’s intended for continuous operation and was described that way. It’s been installed for about 1.5 years now and works perfectly.
If the tablet breaks after 5 years, that’s fine—I chose a cheaper option for that reason. It serves its purpose just as well as any more expensive tablet. Do you still have the exact model number of the power supply?
