My bungalow, which has been designed to be barrier-free, is now getting the doors installed. A T30 fire-resistant door is planned as the access to the garage. I had the garage floor slab made slightly higher on purpose, so that later the screed in the house and garage will be level.
The frame has a continuous seal all around. Has anyone installed something like this in their home or have experience with it? Maybe even a photo?
I am a bit worried that the frame could become a tripping hazard 🤨

Bieber081528 Nov 2016 13:26The seal only makes contact when closed, relating to the concept of a drop-down feature. During operation, there is no rubbing.
