Our soil survey showed that we need to waterproof our basement against hydrostatic pressure.
The additional cost quoted for this is quite significant.
What is a typical surcharge per square meter compared to a standard basement for something like this?

Yes, that is the surcharge for masonry. Okay, then I can approve it like that. I just thought it would be extremely expensive. Thank you!

Many farmers told us that it is cost-neutral whether the basement walls are built with masonry or concrete. From their side, basement parts in contact with the ground were then offered as concrete.

Concrete work was offered as WU concrete without consulting me beforehand.

With masonry, the interior still needs plastering, but with concrete, it does not.

This can be an exception, but for the basement (dimensions approx. 9x10 m (30x33 ft)), I have already received offers ranging from 25,000 to 70,000.

We also have plaster on the walls in the waterproofed basement. Otherwise, the surface would be a bit rough.

With prefabricated basements, only one side of the wall has a smooth formwork surface and is therefore paintable. Additionally, there are deep joints between the elements, including on the ceiling. You probably want to do something about that; otherwise, it looks quite rough. For a purely functional basement, you can possibly leave it as is.

On the other hand, when building with masonry, plastering is not always necessary, for example with exposed masonry made of calcium silicate bricks.
