Hello

We are building a new house and are currently working on a layout plan for the bathroom!

The bathroom measures 4.84 x 3.50 m (16 x 11.5 ft), is located on the first floor, and has almost no sloped ceiling since the knee wall starts at 1.90 m (6 ft 3 in). There is a window in the bathroom measuring 200 x 75 cm (79 x 30 inches).

- A bathtub should be included, but preferably not freestanding
- A large walk-in ("level-access") shower
- One large or two smaller washbasins

Does anyone have creative ideas or know websites with good bathroom suggestions or galleries?

Thanks and best regards

Martin

Hello!

There is a very user-friendly 3D bathroom planner available from the company Innova, which our plumbing specialist also used. I first put our ideas on paper using the free web version, which was then professionally implemented by our plumbing expert with the correct sanitary fixtures.

Best regards,

@ADMIN: Sorry, but your approach regarding posted links is simply ridiculous. This leads to situations like the one above... This has nothing to do with the World Wide Web anymore. It is absolutely fine that no one is allowed to post advertisements in your forum, but not being able to post "normal" links anymore is just laughable. And now you can go ahead and ban me for my criticism.

@ProfMobilux:
I haven’t been here long myself, but I do agree with the building expert. There are countless resources available on the internet.

Simply searching for keywords like “bathroom design” can be very helpful. Additionally, Fun-ta, you’ve already received a useful suggestion that, in my opinion, doesn’t really need a link anymore.

@Fun-ta:
I think a dimensioned floor plan would help in providing you with some suggestions.

I think with 17sqm (182.9 sq ft) you can’t place too many items along the walls; instead, you’ll likely need to create some kind of island or island unit with the sanitary fixtures. Otherwise, the bathroom will lack atmosphere.

Perhaps place a walk-in shower in the middle of the 3.50m (11.5 ft) wall, separated by a partition wall running parallel to the main wall. This wall could then serve as the end panel for the bathtub, which would then be positioned more centrally in the room. Behind the long side of the bathtub, install a wall for the washbasin plumbing. On the opposite side (facing the shower) place the toilet… something along those lines…
