Hello,
we have purchased a plot of land and plan to build a house without a basement soon. According to the soil report, the ground consists of 1 meter (3.3 feet) of topsoil, just under 1 meter (3.3 feet) of loess, and from 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) deep, clay. What should we consider regarding the foundation slab? Is there a specific mixture needed to ensure proper water drainage, etc.? What do you recommend, and what should we keep in mind? The house will be built by the construction company, including all trades.
We look forward to your helpful advice.
Best regards,
JoTa

Provide the companies you intend to hire for constructing the foundation slab with the geotechnical report before they prepare their quotations, and have the offers professionally evaluated.
