Hello everyone,
is it possible to install electrical components in external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) afterwards?
Specifically, I would like to integrate a flush-mounted video intercom system into our insulation. The power cable is already in place and protrudes from the insulation.
I have found some universal device carriers from Kaiser, but I wonder how to cleanly cut out entire blocks from the insulation.

And how did you remove the polystyrene inside? Cutting the edges of the flush-mounted box into the ETICS is logical, but then the whole inside must somehow be broken out as well.
