I need a polystyrene insulation that goes under the screed and above the underfloor heating pipes.

The staff at Bauhaus really don’t know what they’re talking about.

What is the exact name for this? Do you have any links?

EPS is insulation, however

Of course. But read again what he is looking for.
He wants to put Styrofoam ON the heating pipes.

Hello, this is for the shower in the attic.

The developer had left out the screed in the shower area to install a shower tray.

Now there will be a walk-in shower.
Screed will be applied in that area.
There is underfloor heating in the shower.

What exactly should be installed here? Do you have a specific term for it?

Find someone who knows what they’re doing. I can already foresee water damage due to poor workmanship, especially if there is uncertainty about how the structure should be built.

Just ask the installer working for your builder! I won’t give any more advice since I don’t want to be responsible if something goes wrong.

I’m not trying to hold you to it.
The builder wanted to install a shower tray, but it arrived damaged. We canceled the shower tray so the tiler could continue working. The builder and their plumber haven’t said anything because we had to cancel the shower tray. That’s why I’m asking here, as I need help and have to move forward.

My goodness. One last tip from me: the tiler usually installs the sloped screed in the shower, and they also handle the insulation and must ensure it is permanently sealed against moisture and water.

Now you can contact your point of contact.
