ᐅ Frustrating Bathroom Setup – Any Ideas for a Shower Screen on the Bathtub?

Hello!
I’m currently renovating a small bathroom. So far, it only has a bathtub, but I would like to add a shower option within the tub. Unfortunately, there are a few challenges...
The wall where the shower would ideally be installed has an access panel – and it doesn’t extend across the entire width of the bathtub.
Adding to the difficulty, the toilet is located directly opposite the bathtub. A permanently fixed wall right at the edge of the bathtub would be somewhat inconvenient.
Do you have any good suggestions other than a shower curtain?
