Hello!

I’m currently renovating a small bathroom. So far, it only has a bathtub, but I would like to add a shower option within the tub. Unfortunately, there are a few challenges...

The wall where the shower would ideally be installed has an access panel – and it doesn’t extend across the entire width of the bathtub.
Adding to the difficulty, the toilet is located directly opposite the bathtub. A permanently fixed wall right at the edge of the bathtub would be somewhat inconvenient.

Do you have any good suggestions other than a shower curtain?
Photos are attached.

Many thanks!

Do you have a hot tip that isn't a shower curtain?
Showering while seated could be an option if you don’t want to use a curtain...

Fixed glass panel on the narrow side followed by two folding panels. The shower bracket is not centered on the wall but positioned more to the side toward the fixed glass panel.

Just like in the pictures. There are different models available.

Honestly, I don’t see any challenge here.
Yes, the side that is shorter than the bathtub might be unusual and potentially tricky, but apart from the access panel, it shouldn’t be a problem.
There are only three-part shower enclosures for one side, meaning a curved side. One part is then 30-40cm (12-16 inches) long, making the entire wall flexible and able to adapt to the edge of the bathtub when folded open.
There are also glass doors that, in addition to the meter-long panel, have an extra 20-30cm (8-12 inches) section, which could also work.
Then, as mentioned earlier, there are genuine two- or three-part options: with any of these, you can position each side flexibly where needed.
Oh my, and a quick online search reveals even more shower screens, ranging from 2 to 7 elements, all of which can be adjusted in position. Basically, there’s nothing that doesn’t exist.

Thanks for the input. What exactly are you looking for? I only found two- or at most three-part partitions, but nothing that could be customized individually.

Thanks, but that would only work at the bathroom entrance. I wanted to avoid that because visually, you would be facing a wall as soon as you enter, and the slope for lying down in the bathtub would also be there, which restricts standing.
