Hello everyone,

Alongside our neighbor’s garage, we have protected it from the soil with a three-sided dimpled membrane. Now it’s more about the appearance, as my wife is starting to be bothered by the look of the membrane. Our neighbor has asked me to check if there is any kind of finishing trim strip that can be glued on instead of nailing into his garage wall. Additionally, we thought there might be some kind of decorative film with a stone pattern or something similar that could be clipped over it.

However, I haven’t been able to find either option. Does anyone here possibly have an idea or a source?

Looking forward to any feedback.

Best regards,

The dimple membrane is simply cut off flush with the soil level, and all issues are resolved (this is how it’s done with any dimple membrane, whether on your own house, garage, or elsewhere).

If you want it a bit more polished, there is also the Disto distance profile – it is simply slipped loosely over the cut-off drainage membrane and looks a bit nicer.

It comes in 3 colors and 5 heights. It is usually intended for weighting down with slab coverings but can also be fixed in place if needed, for example with ground nails or similar.
