It’s time for us to finally improve our rather neglected garden!
We would like to have a small pond with a stream, but we’re unsure how to go about it. I prefer to avoid starting projects without proper planning that might fail in the end or not work correctly because something was overlooked.
Is there anyone here who has done a similar project or has experience with this?
I would really appreciate any tips!

In my parents' garden, there is a pond.
In the pond, there is a submersible pump that feeds water through a hose into the water channel. The water channel starts at a small rock garden and then winds around the rock garden, sloping downward toward the pond. The water channel next to the rock garden is partly concrete (the lower section) and decorated with stones on top – the lower part is simply protected by pond liner.
The kids love the water channel and enjoy floating boats there, building dams, and so on.
