Hello everyone,
In our new build, in what is supposed to be the future children's bathroom, I still need to install a drywall partition reaching the full room height to box in the protruding pipes and cables.
Unfortunately, the screed could not be poured across the entire width up to the wall because of the installed pipes, but ends about 10–15cm (4–6 inches) short of the wall. If I had to anchor the floor profile with anchors, I would need to leave another 8cm (2 × anchor length of 4cm [1.5 inches]) away from the wall to prevent the screed from cracking.
Therefore, I am considering gluing the floor profile instead of anchoring it, using a strong construction adhesive.
My question is: Should I still stick a sealing tape on the underside of the profile and then apply the construction adhesive underneath, or would that not hold properly?
Or should I skip the sealing tape entirely in this case?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

If there is no underfloor heating or pipes embedded in the screed, you might consider reducing the thickness of the screed and installing everything directly on the subfloor beneath the screed as usual.
The sealing tape is important for sound decoupling. I would not want to do without it.
