ᐅ Steel stringer staircase: any recommended and affordable manufacturers?

For our new single-family home near Regensburg, we would like to install steel stringer stairs (over 2 floors) with oak treads and metal railings, and glass railings in the gallery areas. We received a quote from a local company, but at over 24,000 euros, it was significantly more expensive than we expected. Our shell construction company suggested we inquire with Czech stair manufacturers. Does anyone have experience with Czech stair builders? Or does anyone know of a stair company that offers custom-designed steel stringer stairs at more reasonable prices?

What price were you thinking of? We ordered our staircase from Stadler. They also have steel stringer stairs in their range. For my half-turned staircase, I requested quotes for both steel stringer and double-stringer stairs. The oak treads alone (not finger-jointed, but lamella) cost about €4,000 (approximately $4,400).

What you’re looking for will likely not be found for less than €20,000 (around $22,000) at them or at other providers!

Ok, thanks for the reply. Yes, maybe the prices are actually that high. We could try contacting Treppen Stadler for comparison.
