Hello everyone,
I read in our structural report that the walls on the upper floor are only allowed to be erected after the ceiling below has been removed from the formwork to allow for deflection. This was not done. One wall (right next to the stairs) was built one day after the concrete ceiling above the ground floor was poured. There are still temporary supports underneath, but once they are removed, I am worried that the wall might become misaligned if the ceiling deflects. At this point, the ceiling is also a cantilever and no longer supported.
My site manager has tried to reassure me, saying it’s not a problem. I suspect he doesn’t want to order a crane, since these are large precast concrete elements.
How would you react, and what would you recommend? Would you insist on having the wall rebuilt?
I am also attaching a photo that hopefully makes the situation clearer.

Just try holding a spirit level against it...

That issue was settled for us as well. The site manager is having the wall taken down and then rebuilt.

Apart from that, the suspended ceiling looks very thin. How many centimeters is it?
