ᐅ Structural Engineering / Energy Efficiency Regulations – Is the Quote Fair?

Hello,
I have a question about the structural engineer’s fees.
For my construction project:

New bungalow, 150m² (1,615 sq ft) + heated living space in existing basement, 66m² (710 sq ft), I received the following cost estimate:

1500 € net structural calculation, design phase 4 according to HOAI
850 € net energy performance certificate 2016 compliance verification
500 € net preparation of confirmation for application (BZA)/BnD KFW55
600 € net execution of structural monitoring according to HBO 59/73

Is this roughly appropriate?

Thanks a lot!
Best regards

I would also like to have that, especially the Energy Saving Ordinance, even cheaper than the structural calculations, and KfW is an absolute joke,...

May I guess, eBay Classifieds?

Search for a structural engineer.
The energy saving regulation costs 350 plus additional fees.

Clearly, what is supposed to come out of it if someone doesn’t even charge €1 per hour,...

The energy-saving regulation service has even been removed from the HOAI because it was priced far too low.

Structural engineering, on the other hand, is usually manageable.

Or there is the note "provided by the client," in which case the client assumes liability.

That’s not the case here; it will just take 20-30 hours of work. Take another bungalow, replace the cover sheet, and add 2-3 comments. Done.

My structural engineering was excellent.
The same applies to countless others I know.
The issue I see is more with the inspection. That definitely needs to be done by someone on site.
The cost for that, of course, comes on top.

@Lumpi_LE

This only applies to modular prefabricated house construction.
However, no homeowner would separately hire a structural engineer for this.
Therefore, it is pointless,...
