Hello,
I have a question about the structural engineer’s fees.
For my construction project:

New bungalow, 150m² (1,615 sq ft) + heated living space in existing basement, 66m² (710 sq ft), I received the following cost estimate:

1500 € net structural calculation, design phase 4 according to HOAI
850 € net energy performance certificate 2016 compliance verification
500 € net preparation of confirmation for application (BZA)/BnD KFW55
600 € net execution of structural monitoring according to HBO 59/73

Is this roughly appropriate?

Thanks a lot!
Best regards

Structural engineering is very affordable. I have rarely seen it cheaper. However, cheap structural engineering can become expensive if a lot of reinforcement bars are installed. On the other hand, the energy-saving regulations I find expensive.

Thanks for the feedback! Then it should be fine overall.
Recommendation from my architect is that he does not use tension reinforcement.

It's not fair, it’s too cheap.

Do you happen to have the contact details of the structural engineer? They might be able to help me as well.
