Hello everyone,
As part of my new build, I also added a party room next to my carport. For this, supply and return lines for a standard wall-mounted radiator were installed, while the rest of the house has underfloor heating. The radiator is now mounted on the wall and ready to be put into operation.
My question is whether the following procedure is correct:
I open the radiator air vent, then the supply line, so air can escape and water can flow in. As soon as only water comes out of the vent, I close it. After that, I open the return line and add water in the heating room to restore the optimal operating pressure.
The system uses a gas boiler.
Is this the correct process?
Thank you very much

Open the valves on the radiator.
Connect the hose to the heating system.
Open the valve slightly so that the hose fills completely with heating water.
Then close the valve again and connect the hose to the water supply.
Open the water tap and the valve on the heating system.
If not already open, open the bleed valve on the radiator.
Bleed until no air comes out. It’s okay to let a bit more water run out here.
Close the bleed valve.
Close the water tap and the valve on the heating system. It is very helpful to have a second person you can call to do this.
Adjust the pressure if necessary.
Remove the water hose.
