Now that the days are getting warmer again, we want to put our cantilever umbrella on our new WPC (wood-plastic composite) terrace. Unfortunately, I’ve already had bad experiences with this on a larch terrace. 😱
The umbrella is fixed with four concrete slabs. Because of this, the terrace surface cannot dry after it rains and leaves increasingly worse stains and marks. 🙂 🙂
Do you have any tips to prevent this, or do you just have to accept it and clean or even sand the spot after removing the umbrella base?
(The slabs are very heavy, so constantly moving the umbrella is not an option.) :p

meister keks12 Apr 2017 19:25I would place the umbrella stand underneath the WPC decking. That way, only the umbrella is visible, and the problems are avoided.
