Hello everyone!
For our bungalow with a wooden ceiling, we want to install a stove. To save space, we do not want to install a traditional chimney system. We are considering a stainless steel chimney. Is it possible or allowed to attach it to an interior wall and run it through a wooden ceiling? Or does it have to be routed outside as quickly as possible?

To save space for an area of about 43 x 30 cm (17 x 12 inches) on a wall?

Kind regards

Yes, for space-saving reasons. My question was also about routing through the floor beams. But I better ask the chimney sweep; they will know.

First, ask your chimney sweep. They usually know who can build a chimney for you.

Do you really want to have a stainless steel external chimney inside the house? Usually, a three-part chimney system is used indoors. It is plastered over and that’s it. You will have a corner in the room, but at least it matches the walls.
