I need to install 2.5m² (27 ft²) of split tiles soon. Since I have never worked with split tiles before, I have a question: Can I cut the split tiles using a standard tile cutter? I have a wet saw, but I don’t want to set it up just for a few cuts. Cleaning it afterward is a lot of work. Does anyone have experience with this?

baumann4218 Nov 2017 19:59You can score it lightly with moderate pressure and then tap it from the back with a tile hammer, and it will break exactly along the score line...
