Hello,
I have taken over the Malm bed (5 years old) from my daughter.
We dismantled it a few weeks ago, and when I wanted to reassemble it now, I realized that I am missing the 4 large round components that fit into the large holes at the ends of the side panels. These are used to insert and tighten the long screws from the headboard and footboard.
Unfortunately, I don’t know what these parts are called.
I checked the assembly instructions online and noticed that now they use 8 of these parts instead of 4. The parts have the following number there: 114670.
They also look somewhat smaller to me. So, I’m not sure if these would fit this bed.

Can someone tell me if and where I can get such replacement parts?

Best regards, malmfan

Hello,
at that time, eccentric cams were not used. Screw bolts were turned into the head and foot parts, and circular plastic segments were placed over the threads in the holes of the side panels, then tightened with a nut.
Which >parts are still available?
You can get replacement parts from IKEA at the customer service desk or via the spare parts form on ikea.de.

I hope my daughter still finds them, otherwise I’ll probably have to drive to IKEA.
Or you can use the order form on the IKEA website – the parts will be sent free of charge, as long as they are still available.

Thank you, IKEA friend. After I was able to look at the parts again, thanks to your link, I suddenly remembered where I had put them...
I checked and found them. The bed is already assembled.
Thanks, malmfan.
