I have already tried searching on Google but never really found anything definitive:
How large does a boiler room need to be for a brine/water heat pump plus a central ventilation system?
Are there any required clearance distances for this?

Since space will likely be very limited: are there possibly options to install the buffer storage tank under a spiral staircase?

Ventilation systems are also available for ceiling installation – that’s how we solved it! The heat pump is installed directly below. However, it depends on the ceiling height you are planning.
Our ceiling height is just under 270 cm (about 9 feet), and it worked well with that.
The room is just under 8 m² (about 86 ft²), and we also store shoes and sports gear there. It still fits comfortably.

The ventilation system is mounted on the wall, with the heat pump standing next to it. Approximately 2.5 m² (27 ft²) of space is allocated for this, while foldable garden chairs and a few boxes can still be stored there.
