Hello dear forum community!
We have chosen Internorm windows KF 410 – on the website, the sound insulation value is listed as "34 to 45 dB," and for thermal insulation, it says "Uw up to 0.62." I’m a bit confused. Does this mean it reduces sound by 45 dB or not?
How exactly should this be understood?
On the delivered windows it says:
Sound insulation: 34 dB
Thermal transmittance (U-value): 0.77 W/m²K
It would be great if someone could provide some information 🙂
Thanks & best regards

The construction and performance specifications state: "All windows are white uPVC windows with triple glazing, no muntins, branded products, triple thermal insulation glazing."
We are building with a developer and visited a specialist wholesaler to select the windows. They showed us the window included in the price, but the salesperson recommended the Internorm window, as it is currently offered at no extra cost due to a promotion ("triple glazing at the price of double glazing"). This recommendation was supported by arguments such as "better sound insulation and improved energy performance."
The consultation report lists "Internorm ILF 410 Studio" along with the color details.
What I have just noticed is that there does not appear to be an ILF 410 model from Internorm.
I had the chance to see one of the windows before installation and photographed the label:
