Hello,
we need a new corner sofa and visited a few furniture stores last weekend, but only to look around without asking for advice. Nothing really caught our eye, and when sitting on some sofas, I could even feel the internal structure. Did you choose a particular sofa or can you recommend a manufacturer? Have you had any negative experiences?
Regards,
Sabine

Leather is usually not cold, or it warms up after 5 seconds. For me personally, it feels too cold; I don't like the cool sensation when sitting on it. Also, the cushions and blankets tend to slip there, which I find all quite uncomfortable.
Best regards,
Sabine

Mastermind16 Apr 2018 21:16We have a corner sofa from Koinor and are very satisfied with it. Unfortunately, back then—before having kids—we chose a dark fabric option. Well, due to the little ones, there is already some "milk" on the sofa... So today it’s clear: leather sofa.
Our dining chairs are therefore made of leather...
P.S. Definitely not artificial leather. We have had very bad experiences with it on chairs (even high-end ones) – after about 5 years, cracks and peeling appeared...

We are still very satisfied with Himolla (Planopoly 3 - 1902 leather). It is now 7 years old but still looks and feels great. Leather is a matter of personal taste... like everywhere, it has advantages and disadvantages. For toddlers, leather is highly recommended, but keep pens away – just a tip ;-)
I have owned both cheap sofas from discount furniture stores and very expensive ones. The cheap sofas quickly became worn out and developed deep indentations where they were used most often.
The expensive ones, on the other hand, hold up much better and don't wear out as quickly. I would definitely recommend investing a bit more, as you will get much longer use out of them.
