Hello!
As already mentioned here, we need to plan the electrical installation.
I would like one switch next to the door to not only control the ceiling light but also have another switch controlling an outlet on the opposite side of the room. A lamp or maybe the Christmas tree will be plugged into that. It would be great if this outlet could be controlled not only by the mentioned switch but also by a remote control (we have a Logitech Harmony). Is there something available for this (from Ratiopharm)?

We have power outlets installed at all windows, which are controlled by a timer switch in the utility room. This setup is specifically for things like Christmas decorations and the Christmas tree.

How should I imagine this—do you have several controllers in the utility room? Are the cables arranged in a star topology from there, or is it a bus system?

No, much simpler: a fuse, followed by a timer switch also in the same format as a fuse, with the wiring running from there across the ground floor from window to window, and the same setup on the upper floor.

That’s a cool idea. Thanks for that.
But regarding the wireless solution, does anyone else have any ideas?
