Hello,
We are currently building a semi-detached house and will install a standard traditional doorbell.
Later, we want to replace it with a smart video doorbell.
Which smart video doorbell would you recommend? It should meet the following criteria:
No cloud storage – all data should remain within my own network.
The doorbell sound should ring as usual on the existing chime, and additionally ring on my phone and my wife's phone (it's enough if this works only when we are connected to Wi-Fi; it does not need to work when we are away).
The doorbell should continue to ring even if there is currently no Wi-Fi connection.
No monthly fees.
What is the legal situation? We probably won't be able to prevent the street from being recorded in the background. Is this a problem or illegal? The recording will only be temporary and only when someone rings the bell.

Completely stainless steel. This applies to quite a few models, but in my opinion, it’s not necessarily a guarantee of being attractive. 😉No personal experience, but it looks like the typical model that a well-established craftsman company often installs: two-wire technology without an IP interface. The viewing angle seems too narrow for me, but depending on the door situation, it might be acceptable.
Which exact version are you getting?

Which exact version are you getting?According to the offer, the following (see attachment).
I find the mentioned Jäger Busch welcome interesting, or the Balter EVO SILVER Video Door Intercom System 2x7" Touchscreen 2-Wire BUS interesting.

If you are already using free@home, it makes sense to also choose the BJ door station. Although it is still a two-wire system, it at least includes a wired IP gateway. However, I would still recommend planning for a network connection at the door. What exactly is the network connection at the door intended for?
