Hello,
We are currently building a semi-detached house and will install a standard traditional doorbell.
Later, we want to replace it with a smart video doorbell.
Which smart video doorbell would you recommend? It should meet the following criteria:
No cloud storage – all data should remain within my own network.
The doorbell sound should ring as usual on the existing chime, and additionally ring on my phone and my wife's phone (it's enough if this works only when we are connected to Wi-Fi; it does not need to work when we are away).
The doorbell should continue to ring even if there is currently no Wi-Fi connection.
No monthly fees.
What is the legal situation? We probably won't be able to prevent the street from being recorded in the background. Is this a problem or illegal? The recording will only be temporary and only when someone rings the bell.

Is it possible to operate the Mobotix T26 (camera module only) using a single CAT 7 cable and simultaneously power an existing doorbell chime? No, unfortunately that is not possible without an additional module.

No, unfortunately that’s not possible without an additional module.Yes, I know, I mean with an I/O module. My question was whether I can do this using only CAT 7 cable (I only have that at the front door, nothing else), by using 4 wires of the cable for Ethernet and then branching off two wires to connect the doorbell chime.Hausbaer schrieb:
I’d like to bring up the Alphago ALP-600. It can be operated completely locally (without an internet connection). The appearance is debatable ;-) Has anyone had experience with it?Never heard of it, just quickly googled it. Now I have eye strain.C
