As part of a major renovation, my painter now suggests filling all the walls with Orruzell Haftspachtel 2000.
The packaging states: "White filler based on natural gypsum with synthetic resin, methylcellulose, and cellulose fibers." Data sheets can be found through Google.
He applied a test patch in some areas. Visually, it looks great, much smoother than the old wall, and if I wallpaper again, it should come off more easily.
However, I have concerns about whether the wall will still be able to breathe and store moisture. I don’t want to spoil the indoor climate.
Unfortunately, I cannot find an SD value for this product.
