Hello
I would like to install the following porcelain sink. Can someone tell me how the installation is supposed to work? The sink has no holes for screws, but rather a kind of recess for a hanging bracket (see pictures). I can’t find anything suitable for mounting it anywhere. Thank you very much for your tips!

No, but the basin fits perfectly against the wall, and between the basin and the wall there is a large metal plate providing a proper, wide support surface. At least that’s how it is with my washbasin.
When I compare my double washbasin with those two hooks, which mostly support the load at just small points rather than pressing the entire basin flat against the wall... well, then I do have some concerns. But as I said, it’s just a feeling since I have no practical experience with washbasins. I only know my own basins.
But it is still wall-mounted :p

Washbasins fixed with threaded rods and measuring 1m (3.3 ft) or more also only hold at two points, or do you have supports underneath them?
But it is still wall-mounted :p

Hello,
they should actually hold, I trained as a GWS technician in the late 1970s.
Back then, there were still a few types of brackets, either tabs or alternatively cast iron brackets.

Near Hannover, there is a plumbing company that has the slogan: "Gas, water, beautiful baths" on their company vehicles.
By the way:
Very important! Tighten screws and nuts very carefully, never overtighten.
When I built my bathroom, I broke a washbasin because of this and got complaints from the foreman.
