ᐅ Single-family house with a secondary apartment – Which company should we choose to build?

Hello,
we (Hannes 23 & Denise 23) have decided to build a house within the next one to two years.
After some consideration, it was clear that it should be a single-family house with a granny flat for my mother-in-law.
The house will have 1.5 stories with a knee wall of at least 140cm (55 inches).
The granny flat will take up part of the ground floor, while the main apartment will occupy the rest of the ground floor and the entire upper floor. A basement would be desirable, but it must be a waterproof concrete basement (known as a “white tank”).
We already own a plot (flat building land, partially developed with water and sewage… electricity, gas, and telecommunications connections nearby at a maximum distance of 5m (16 feet)).
After days of going through catalogs, phone calls, and a visit to the model house park Hessdorf (Erlangen), we are quite overwhelmed.
The only real advice we received was from Schwörerhaus & Fertighaus Weiss, but unfortunately both are too expensive.
Are there any recommendations for suppliers in the area and experiences with approximate prices we should expect?
Prefab construction or traditional masonry is not important at this point.
We would like to contribute with some work ourselves, such as painting and flooring.
For heating, tiling, and electrical work, we have good contacts who are self-employed and would offer us a "friend discount."
_______________
Best regards
Hannes

That is 232 square meters (2,495 square feet) of living space! Have you looked into the current price per square meter of living space? If you calculate with 1800€-2000€ per square meter (approximately $195-$217 per square foot) of living space, you can imagine what the house fully finished and delivered, without any illusions from the general contractor, should cost.

Livestyle 24 doesn’t include a granny flat and is smaller than what you want to build, right? That will just be attached by hand later by some good friends.
@TE: You are still very, very far from any realistic planning. But I can already describe a possible outcome for you:
- You build a 135m² (1,450 sq ft) house without a granny flat and without a basement.
- You magically pull 150k out of nowhere and build the planned project, still without a basement.
- You don’t build anything for now, which isn’t a bad option at your age. In 5–10 years, the situation will be different.
The plot is 22m x 120m (72ft x 394ft)???
Did you make a mistake with the measurements? Otherwise, sell part of the plot and you can build a main house with a granny flat and a basement...
Where in the Erlangen area do you want to build? We are also going to build 140sqm (1507 sqft) plus a 50sqm (538 sqft) granny flat in the Fürth district, but without a basement. I might be able to recommend some general contractors.
Please be cautious with Massa Haus. At the start of our planning, we also met with them in Heßdorf. Luckily, we were experienced enough to realize how unreliable their information was. I find their approach borderline unethical.
Rensch-Haus offers good designs for houses with granny flats.
