St.gepr.TE S11 Jan 2019 12:12Hello everyone,
We are now at a loss... We want to build a single-family end-terrace house. One offer from an architect is still pending. We already have a draft plan and the plot. Now we want to get alternative offers from a general contractor / prefab house builder / turnkey builder. Construction using solid masonry, meaning brick on brick! Does anyone have experience with companies from the Ruhr area or can recommend companies that handle only single-family houses including planning?
Best regards
Svenja

Now we want to obtain alternative offers from a developer/prefabricated house manufacturer/turnkey builder. A developer can be excluded if you already own the plot of land—in that case, a general contractor is probably meant.

Thanks for the tip, I am already contacting general contractors. However, there are still developers who implement something like this; we once received an offer, but the construction method did not appeal to us. These are very rare though.
The plan is to assign the site management to the respective company or architect....
Your answers are helpful, but unfortunately they do not address my question.
Thanks anyway!

There are still developers who implement something like this Yes, of course. As long as you haven’t purchased a specific plot of land yet, you remain flexible and can still keep the option of going with a developer open.

I’m glad my answers are still helpful to you, but unfortunately I cannot provide any specific recommendations for general contractors or developers in the desired region. I do have a knack for sorting out those kinds of people, but no personal business experience with them—after all, as someone from the Middle Rhine area in the former East Germany, I’m rarely active in that market. ;-)
