Window areas in the southwest corner of the ground floor seem to *feel* as if they contradict the natural sense of stability.
It would be better to include a visible section of wall (without glass) at the southwest corner.
To clarify again, this is only about the 'feeling of stability' and not about structural engineering.

If the structural engineering is settled, then it’s probably just a matter of personal taste. No one can decide that for you.

I think it looks nice facing south; it feels very open. Personally, some other windows would bother me more.

Who designed this model for you?

Looks a bit bulky, somehow the skeptics are right 😉

Good morning!

Why, is the model not successful?!

Seriously, I put this together so that you can have something three-dimensional based on the drafts. Professionals obviously do this better!

Which window is still bothering you?

Yvonne, you probably mean the top three windows on the south side, regarding them being bulky.
I feel the same way. I need to revise that!

Looking forward to any feedback!

I’m also attaching the floor plans for the ground floor and upper floor again, so you can see which windows belong where.

Good luck

No, I also mean downstairs.
I don’t think the windows fit.
By the way, the window dimensions in the plan and the model don’t match!

Before adding floor-to-ceiling corner windows on the other side of the house, you should consider your kitchen layout 😉

EDIT:
In general, I also like many floor-to-ceiling windows, but I would especially reconsider those in areas where desks are already planned.

Upper floor: The two slanted walls are awful; I would straighten them out 😉

Regarding the exterior appearance: Something about the look bothers me too, but I can't exactly say what. Overall, there is too much window area for my taste. From an energy efficiency standpoint nowadays, it doesn’t make much sense, and it’s hard to create a cozy atmosphere inside—not to mention the parking space. I know many people who have built this way, and most regret it afterward.

A staircase not separated from the living area by a door is a matter of personal preference, but with children, I find it impractical, especially concerning noise and privacy.

I would reconsider the skylight in the bedroom. Do you really need the additional light there? Personally, I find them rather annoying, especially when it rains.
