Hi,
I keep reading different opinions and manufacturer recommendations regarding silicate/mineral paint.

I have already sanded our ceiling while filling the joints and treated it with an (acrylic) primer. The drywall slopes have been treated the same way...

Originally, we wanted to use pure silicate paint, but now I read in some places that it doesn’t work on primer and drywall. However, for example, a well-known mineral paint with a cat logo (which I wouldn’t buy) states it is suitable for gypsum board!
So, what is the correct information?

A pure silicate paint does not work on drywall! And I don’t understand the logic of priming with an acrylic primer (deep primer) and then wanting to continue using purely mineral-based products.

There are many high-quality dispersion silicate paints for interior use. You don’t need to worry about that.
