IKEA-Experte20 Aug 2016 22:46It would be very impractical, or only possible with a split front that folds down at the bottom. 86.5cm (34 inches) with an adjustable hinge if you want to avoid trouble.
I looked up some information about the variable hinge online, and since I really don’t want to do any DIY adjustments, this seems to be the best solution.
And even if I’m being a bit annoying, I still want to know this!
Ikea currently sells 5 fully integrated dishwashers, all exactly 81.8 cm (32 inches) tall.
So, why do Ikea dishwashers fit, while other brands with almost the same height (difference of 3 mm) don’t?
Or do Ikea dishwashers also not fit easily?

I’m considering whether I should or could use these fronts:

METOD
2 fronts for dishwasher, Veddinge gray
The advantage would be that it fits better with the overall look of the kitchen, but I’ve read here that the VÅGLIG connecting rail can’t be installed because the Våglig attachment points are also where the front is screwed to the Vario hinge.
But do I even need a mounting rail, or can I attach the split fronts directly to the Vario hinge?
