I have a corner shower, 81 cm (32 inches) deep and 94.5 cm (37 inches) wide (walk-in, no shower tray). Now I am considering which walls and/or doors we should buy. This is not our main shower, so it probably won’t be used very often.

I’m wondering if it makes sense to go with two fixed panels without a door—in other words, an L-shaped shower screen. Has anyone had experience with a shower like this? Would it be possible with my dimensions (the long side of the L would be 81 cm (32 inches) deep, the short side would be 94.5 cm (37 inches) minus x cm long)? I have no idea how much water would splash out through the opening of such a shower.

I would like to suggest two options. However, they might not be suitable since the bathroom layout is unknown.

Two floor plans of a shower area with a door; dimensions 94.5×100 cm (37×39 inches) and 67 cm (26 inches); red cross on the right.

This also works well with a wall and a shower curtain.

Please try to sketch to scale more accurately in the future.

A corner shower might also be an option.

There are five standard models of corner shower enclosures.

A sliding door option is also possible, but it is quite an expensive solution.

In my opinion, the most effective and practical solution is a partition wall of 81cm (32 inches) or shorter made of frosted glass, combined with a shower curtain if a quarter-circle shape is desired.

Red shower curtain. It goes into the washing machine when needed. On the satin shower wall, you can’t see any drops or limescale residue from the outside. So, it’s quite easy to maintain. The door also doesn’t affect the shower curtain.
