It would be great if some of you could share pictures of your terraces. With so many options available, it can be difficult to make a decision.
What materials and colors did you choose, and why? What has your experience been like after 5 years or more? How large is your terrace? What did you pay for it? Have you incorporated any features such as umbrella stands, raised garden beds, or similar elements? Did you do the work yourselves? Do you know any reliable suppliers for materials that you would recommend? What would you do differently next time?
There are surely many other homeowners who would appreciate photos and tips. Thanks in advance!

So these are Flairstone tiles from Hornbach, called "Modern Dark".
Yes, the idea of using the drum came to me only during the construction. Next to it is the drinking water connection, and the connection next to the door is from the cistern. Both should have been next to each other, but I had the drinking water line installed much later... well, what can you do... could have, would have, should have, it’s not ideal, but I’ve made peace with it^^

Yes, that already looks really good! Have you considered sealing the surface or something similar?Overall, I really like the overall look so far, but yes, I still have some reservations about installing it without joints. So far, the work has been very precise, and I plan to interview him about it again tomorrow. However, it doesn’t seem unusual when you research it online.
