We are currently renovating a two-family house, and in the kitchen there are two different types of screed installed. On the left side is a floating screed, separated from the solid screed on the right by a metal strip. The right area is not floating.
Would it make sense to use resin at the joint to connect the two screeds, or should the right part be removed and a new floating screed installed, then connected at the joint?
