Hello everyone,
Our combined living, cooking, and dining area is unfortunately not very large (33 m² (355 sq ft)) and probably not ideally laid out either. What we regret most, however, is our short TV wall.

Do you have any ideas on how we could design this? I was thinking of adding a room divider next to the wall, but I’m not sure how or what, since there are also switches for the blinds and power outlets on that wall that I can’t block.
I would really appreciate any suggestions.
Best regards

I wouldn’t extend the wall since the room is already quite small.
Maybe you could recess a TV lift into the ceiling, like in the picture. Of course, that involves some cost, but the TV would only be in the way when you’re sitting on the couch anyway, and it could also be a bit larger than the wall.

Wouldn’t a combination of a projector and a retractable screen also be possible? It depends on your budget, of course, but the wall is really narrow... That way, you could possibly skip the typical “TV stand” on the wall and have more flexibility with the hinged door. Switches or similar wouldn’t need to be implemented either...
I would be interested in an analysis of the entire room. Probably, if the sloped room is intended to be a multipurpose room, I would see it as the chill-out area and approach the furnishing of the 33sqm (355 sq ft) room differently than the builder suggests, for example placing the dining table where the sofa area is now. That also seems to be a flexible partition wall?!
