frosch0064 Oct 2015 20:47Hello,
I’m not sure if this is the right forum. I couldn’t find any information using the search function.
We have a plot of land that we want to build on, but it only has a small buildable area. From a rough assessment, it seems that our house would be located over several underground water veins, and there are additional disturbance fields caused by earth radiation.
Is there a way to shield against these sources of disturbance? One company offered to sell us a concrete slab with metal shavings that is supposed to block earth radiation. Has anyone had experience with this? Who can give me further advice? Changing the plot is unfortunately not an option.
I didn’t believe in this for a long time, until an acquaintance became ill due to water veins. Afterwards, we had someone roughly check the land with a divining rod. I only started to really believe in it after a second dowser identified water veins in the exact same locations, without knowing the results of the first one.
Now we are a bit uncertain and are trying to shield it already beneath the foundation slab, if that is possible.

Hello,
please first inform yourself about how dowsing rods work. These only function during a full moon. If dangerous water veins are actually found, the best way to deal with them is by using fire.
Okay, joke aside: This question would be better suited for an esotericism forum. Dowsing rods have no scientific basis and “work” solely through suggestion. The same applies to the supposed dangers of water veins… It will not be possible for you to reliably attribute an illness of an acquaintance to a water vein (unless they fell in and drowned…). If you actually can do that… congratulations on your next Nobel Prize.
Best regards
Tego

OBJECTION...
I also tried this once during my internship with a copper wire.
And it actually worked for me, even though I was walking across a meadow with the wire, knowing this was complete nonsense – and the wire reacted – right at the spot where the pipe was buried under the meadow. Several times from different directions at various points.
We had the plans (which I hadn’t seen beforehand!)
However, I don’t believe in esoteric stuff, like harmful effects or strange radiation.

*lol no idea, I haven’t gotten past one yet
I also don’t want to debate the sense or nonsense of the whole thing,
of course there’s no scientific evidence for it, I just pointed out— even at the risk of making myself look silly— that in this one case on that meadow it actually worked.
I didn’t know where the duct was, so it wasn’t a matter of unconsciously moving it myself. I was surprised myself, since I don’t believe in God or any other "supernatural" things; I’m much too scientifically minded for that.
I won’t justify myself any further,
@Frosch: this surely isn’t the right forum for such a request

Are you sure you want to block earth radiation?!
I have a construction specification from an eco-architect that says you should avoid using steel reinforcement in the foundation slab as much as possible in order not to disturb the natural radiation field...
I would say that one of you two has misunderstood something there.
