Still about the roof, but there are also vents that can be installed in a drywall partition; however, these require maintenance.
Is there any standard for this?
Ok, here’s the issue:
- The carpenter missed the opening in the concrete wall
- Rolled out the PE vapor barrier, installed the rafters, put the roof on, covered it, and constructed the ceiling
- Now the plumber comes and says: Wait a minute, something is wrong and points to the rafter
- The site manager reviews the situation, points it out to me, but says that routing it through the exterior wall is not a problem
- Visually, it looks suboptimal from the outside because on one side there is the moisture vent, and on the other side the wastewater vent
Google offers different opinions on this, so I’m very grateful for any views or suggestions.
The question is whether I should escalate this and wait until the roof has to be dismantled.
