Hello,
I am new here and already have my first question. I would like to set up a home office. We even have a spare room that I can convert for this purpose, but the room is very small. Now I am thinking about which furniture would fit best in the space... Do you have any tips? Which furniture can I use to maximize storage space in a small room? Do you have any good suggestions for combinations? That would be really great, thank you.

Hello everyone

I am currently in the same situation. I am looking for both a comfortable, back-friendly office chair for my new home office and some good chairs for visitors.
@Tux: Unfortunately, I have to say that I found everything at Steckenborn except chairs. Or do you mean general office supplies? If not, could you share a link?

Otherwise, I can show you what I have come across so far in my search.
On one hand, I have come across *deleted* several times. So far, I find the chairs quite good, and the prices are reasonable. I mean, if you want quality, you have to spend a bit more. That’s just how it is.

When it comes to office chairs, I’m really struggling. I find it incredibly hard to find chairs that are both attractive and comfortable.
Do you know where I can find affordable options that meet my requirements? I would prefer not to spend too much on this. Honestly, the selection at IKEA doesn’t impress me. Are there any other good alternatives?

I was only referring to office supplies with Steckenborn.

I can only emphasize again that thorough testing by trying out different options is essential, which means visiting several stores and also checking out specialized office supply retailers. Needs vary, and anyone who spends long hours sitting should not cut corners in the wrong place.

In my office, the collected works are stored in simple Pax cabinets with a depth of 38cm (15 inches) (folders are 35cm (14 inches)).

Doors on them, Lansa handles mounted diagonally almost in the middle of the door, and done.
One meter (39 inches) with doors on the left and right each, and an open section of 50cm (20 inches) in between.

It looks good and provides endless storage space.

Thank you all in advance for your replies. In the meantime, I’ve already been back to Ikea and tried out some chairs, as well as bought a few smaller items. Now it’s just a matter of making a decision, and I hope to welcome a new office chair soon.

I think these chairs are great. We have several of these in our conference room. They are super comfortable and look very stylish as well.
