ᐅ Furnishing a walk-through room: What kind of furniture or items could be placed there?

Hello,
we have a small passage room here that connects the hallway with the living room. It’s not large, and considering that two walls have doors and one wall has two windows, there’s not much space for furniture. So far, we only have a sofa and two small shelves, but it still feels somewhat empty. What else could we add there? When we have guests, it’s not as comfortable as it is now.

Nicole1981-115 Feb 2014 12:26For guests visiting our apartment, a walk-through room would be a good solution. It would contain a sofa, along with a table and chairs. Flowers and beautiful pictures would be on the walls.

Serena1990-111 Oct 2014 07:05I personally don’t like rooms that serve as walk-throughs. I would simply close a door, then it becomes a proper room and can be used by the family. As a guest, I would feel uncomfortable having to wait in a walk-through room until the hosts are ready to receive me.
